Scan a card nowFor football, basketball, hockey and soccer cards the app reads the player, year, brand, product line and parallel, and separates base cards from numbered hits and graded rookies. Searches for "best sports card scanner app" usually mean one of two things: a fast collection cataloger or an honest price on a single card. PriceSnap is the second.
Photograph the front and the app identifies the set, card number, rarity and holo pattern, reads PSA, BGS and CGC slab labels and estimates a range for that edition. Every result links to TCGplayer and 130point searches so you can check real sold prices for your exact card, which is what a Pokemon card price checker app should do. Note the limits: it cannot reliably tell 1st Edition from Shadowless from a photo and cannot assign a grade.
Vintage Topps and Bowman, junk-wax era commons, modern Bowman Chrome prospects and graded slabs are all handled. The app reads the player, year, brand and card number and prices the card for its era and grade, which matters because most 1987 to 1993 base cards carry little value while a graded vintage rookie can be worth thousands.
Magic: The Gathering values turn on the printing: set symbol, collector number, foil or non-foil, language and edition. Photograph the card so the bottom-left set information is readable and the app identifies the printing before pricing. There is no dedicated MTG page yet, so use the universal card scanner.
Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, Lorcana, Garbage Pail Kids, non-sport sets and cards you cannot place: photograph the full front and back and start with the universal scanner. The app identifies what it can and says when the evidence is too thin for a number.

The app does not grade cards, does not run a marketplace and does not have a licensed feed of sold prices; it finds comparable listings when you scan, labels them and links you to marketplace searches to verify.
